Neuro Hebrides has some very exciting news. We have been chosen to be part of the Coop Local Community Fund, from now until October 2024.
And what's even more exciting is that we have been chosen for 3 causes; one for funding Neuro Hebrides projects in Barra, One for funding Neuro Hebrides projects in the Uists, and one for funding Neuro Hebrides projects in Lewis and Harris.
Every time members buy selected Co-op branded products and services, 2p for every pound spent goes to you and Coop give the same to support community organisations and local causes.
If you are already a member of Coop, you can choose Neuro Hebrides as the cause you would like your support to go to. You can do this instantly if you have the Coop app on your phone, or go on to the Coop website, sign in to your account and choose Neuro Hebrides.
If you are not a member of the Coop yet, then it's so easy to join. You can register online Join Co‑op - buy your £1 share in Co‑op - Co-op (coop.co.uk) or you can go in to a store and ask to join, and you'll instantly start saving points for yourself as well as for local causes.
Being part of the Coop Local Community Fund will enable Neuro Hebrides to support people with Neurological conditions and their carers throughout the Outer Hebrides. Neuro Hebrides organises activities, meetings, and therapies specially designed for people with Neurological conditions and their carers, including Massage therapy, arts and crafts, seated yoga, seated exercise, Cuppa and catch up and more.
Neuro Hebrides also works closely alongside other third sector organisations, the NHS and more to raise awareness about Neurological conditions, and works to improve service provision for those with Neurological conditions and gives a voice to the Neurological community in the Outer Hebrides.
Neuro Hebrides will be sharing more details about our work with Coop over the coming year, and we look forward to meeting some of you when we come in to Stores to promote Neuro Hebrides.
