Safeguarding is the process of protecting people's health, wellbeing, and human rights by keeping them safe from harm, abuse, and neglect. It involves preventing harm, protecting vulnerable individuals, and responding effectively when a problem arises through policies, procedures, and awareness.

A Charity code of conduct is a set of guidelines outlining expected behavior and professional standards for trustees, staff, and volunteers to ensure the charity is run well and safely. 

A social media policy is a document outlining an organization's expectations for employees' social media use, covering both professional and personal activities.

This equality and diversity policy is a formal commitment from Neuro Hebrides to treat all employees, volunteers, trustees and members fairly and with respect, preventing discrimination and creating an inclusive environment. 

A complaints procedure policy is a formal, documented process for handling members dissatisfaction with Neuro Hebrides conduct. It outlines how to record, investigate, and resolve complaints fairly and consistently. The policy aims to resolve issues, provide a mechanism for improvement, and ensure accountability. 

 General Data Protection Regulation, is a European Union (EU) law enacted on May 25, 2018, that governs how organizations handle the personal data of individuals in the EU and European Economic Area (EEA).
